How-to

The How-To block, is designed for multi-step instructions. It works well so long as you follow the format and include a step number, header and paragraph in each step.

Add A How To List

1. Insert a new block
2. Click on the white plus sign
3. search for how to
4. click on the How To icon

Add A Step

Click the pencil icon in the toolbar, then click the "add a step" button.

Each step will have a field for "step number", "step header" and "step detail".

1. The number really should be 1 digit or it will look mor elike an oval than a circle, however You can put in 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C
2. While you should be consistent in your approach, headers really do not need to be complete sentences. They could like "Download" , "Fill-Out" and "Submit" . This tip should help when the narrative itself is not that long.

3. The step detail can have as much content as is needed and, technically, can have images inserted using the insert media button, though you may need to play with the formatting. To put more than simple text in, click the "visual" tab on the field.

Collapse & Reorder Steps

Multiple steps can get really long on the page, so collapsing them will just show the step header and made it easer to moving things around if you need to.

Remove A Step

To remove a step, click the minus sign on the right side of the step that you want to remove.
