Accordion

Modified on Thu, 9 Oct at 11:54 AM

The Accordion block allows you to group content into collapsible items. This prevents reader fatigue, and reduces the visual load for the site user.

Adding An Accordion

  1. Type "/accordion" in a new paragraph block. (Alternately you can add by using the block toggle, which is the + button in upper left.)
  2. Select the Accordion icon block
  3. Select the first of the four options.

The accordion will populate at least two items. You can add, or delete items by following the instructions below.

Adding An Accordion Item

Select the accordion parent container to make the "add new" button appear at the bottom left of the block

Title your items

Put Content In Each Accordion Item

Just open the item and click in it. You are able to add blocks other than paragraph within the accordion items.

Settings

Depending on how your site was set up, you may or may not have "Start with all panes collapsed" pre selected. We recommend setting this to on, as well as "Panes close when another opens".
