The FAQ post type is used to make Q&A content reusable and standalone. It can be pulled via a page block into a page as an FAQ directory a well as be featured at the top of search results. Do to the search result component, we do recommend that you word your titles/questions very clearly to the subject (eg how do I book a ridesource trip is better than "how do I book a trip" which could pertain to more than one service or subject). The benefit of using an FAQ block versus adding manually to say, an accordion, is that you can update FAQs in one place and have it propagate throughout the site, anywhere that FAQ lives.

To Add A New FAQ

  1. Go to FAQs
  2. Select "Add New FAQ" (Alternately, you can click on FAQs, which will bring to a page with all the FAQs, and then you can click "Add New FAQ" from that screen.) 
  3. Enter the title as you want the featured question to appear in the accordion header
  4. Put the answer in the page builder area 
  5. Set the category, add a category if a new one is needed. This will help you slim down your choices when setting up an FAQ block.
