The Buttons List block allows you to add a single one or multiple buttons. A button can link out to a file or a webpage. You can arrange the buttons into rows of 1, 2, 3, or 4 and align them to the left, center, or right.
Add A Buttons List Block
- Insert a new block
- Add a new block
- Search for Buttons List
- Click on the Buttons List block icon
How Many Across?
The point of the button list is that it's a grid. you set a single width and all the buttons in a row are the same height. 1 , 2, 3, 4 is how many buttons you want to fit across in a row before a new row is started.
Adding Buttons
Add Button at the end of block
- Set the number of buttons you want in each row (you can change this at any time)
- Click on Add A Button
- Type in the Label
- Choose the Link Type
- Insert the File or Webpage link
Add Button Between Buttons
- Hover over the line between the two buttons you want to add a new button
- Click on the plus sign
- Add Button information
Putting Content In The Button
Each button has fields for a label as well as where it's being linked. Unlike the other button blocks, this has the option to select that you are linking to a file and it will let you select the file from the media library directly, rather than getting that document url separately.
Removing Buttons
- Hover over the row of the button you want to remove
- On the right, click on the minus sign
- Click on Remove
Collapsing Button Information
You can collapse the buttons information to only see the Label of each button. This is useful for when you just want to see the buttons you have and for when you are rearranging buttons.
- Hover over the top line of the button information you want to collapse
- Click on the arrow on the left
Reordering Buttons
- Hover over the numbers on the left of the rows. A 4-arrow mouse will appear
- Drag and drop the button to a new location

Situations Where You Want One Of The Other 2 button block options
The button list is a gridded option we created custom to resolve 2 issues not addressed by other button options:
1. Multiple buttons in one row being of equal height regardless of content.
2. Buttons not otherwise directly connecting to the media library, which button list does.
However, if you just want a simple, small button or two, then the "buttons" block is fine. Also if you want/need to have icons in your buttons, then buttons (adv) is currently the only button option that supports that.
