Plans & Projects

Plans and Projects are a content post type. Each of the plans and projects will appear in the directory (unless you indicate otherwise). To make changes to the individual post types (Plans/Projects), you will need to do so by entering into the backend of the project/plan detail page, or navigating to it via the dashboard.

Generally Plans/Projects are what we call a hybrid layout. This means that some content is managed through fields for a consistent layout, and will be used as database filters.  Additionally, page builder may be enabled on the page for flexibility in layout.

Adding A New Plan or Projects

  1. Go to "Plans & Projects" in the left blue navigation

  2. Select "Add new Plan and Project"
  3. Title the item. The title is how it will appear in the directory.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and select any related projects you'd like featured at the bottom of the page (if relevant and available in your website).
  5. Select the appropriate category(ies) on the right side. Some sites have it in a field at the bottom.
  6. Select the "Plans & Projects" block to get a starting layout with filler content (if this is available in your project). Complete blocks as appropriate. Delete any headers or tabs that do not apply.

If your website does not have a project block, then select the blocks you want to layout your page.  Tip: Copy and paste the blocks from another project that is laid out in a way you'd like to duplicate, and then switch out the content.
