Editors Post Approval Process
Only the role of Editor has the capabilities of approving Contributor content.

Any content created by a Contributor in Events, News, or Pages will place that post in a Pending status and automatically trigger an email notification of a pending post that needs reviewed to the editor of that Contributors department. See the below screenshot for the Pending status on posts:

Editors Sample Email Notification:
Below is a sample email that contains information about the post that needs approval such as: the Author, Post Title, Front-End link and Admin link to review the post.

The editor can choose to publish the post or add Editorial Comments if the post needs some additional updates from the contributor.

Publishing a Pending Post:
If the post is correct and ready to publish, the Editor can press the Publish button in the top right corner of the pending post to publish the pending post.

Editorial Comments on Posts that aren't ready to publish:
The Editorial Comments section will be located below the main content area on Pages and News posts.
The Editorial Comments will automatically trigger an email notification to the Author of the commented post to notify them that update are required.
