A mega menu is a menu which may be utilized when needing to display a large amount of content. Unlike a traditional dropdown menu, which is a single column, the mega menu generally has three columns, and expands to show additional layers of submenu items. Although a mega menu has the potential to allow ease of navigation since most of the sites structure is displayed all at once, we would recommend using mega menus with caution, as it can also feel overwhelming to the user.
